As for the product itself, these socks are truly peerless, as no one else offers anything similar. The Luna booties exist, but they are not the same. As someone who wears sandals whenever possible, I was eager for these socks to work as part of my winter setup. Unfortunately, they are not the solution I had hoped for.

The positives:

- The socks are very warm and, as promised, windproof. I just tested them in –10°C, walking around in Shamma sandals with a 9mm stack height, and my feet stayed toasty throughout, even too much so.

The negatives:

- Why are these so narrow? I sized up (my usual shoe size is 42, and I ordered 43–46), yet the section for the smaller toes squeezes them uncomfortably. My pinky toes feel compressed to the point of numbness. If we were fine with constricting footwear, we would simply wear regular sport shoes. It is difficult to understand why these socks are so narrow, especially given that they are made by a sandal company. There does not seem to be any structural reason for this design choice.

- The quality appears questionable. The seams between the toes were already fraying when I received the socks, which makes me skeptical about the claimed waterproofness.

All in all, I will not be able to wear these socks as much as I wanted. They will be reserved for situations of absolute necessity. It is a shame, as they are expensive for socks and there are no comparable alternatives available.
